The biggest prize is the $500,000. However, there are two other major cash prizes. The runner-up prize is $50,000, and there is a prize of $25,000 for the person voted America's Favorite Player. Up until a few years ago, the stipend was $750 a week.

First, the Big Brother houseguest contract says: “The Prize and such consolation prizes (if any) may, in Producer’s sole discretion, be contingent upon all episodes of the Episode Cycle in. What we do know for sure is this: The Big Brother winner gets to take home a prize of $500,000, the runner-up $50,000, and the houseguest voted “America’s Favorite Player” walks home with $25,000. But there’s even more of an incentive. The post Big Brother Spoilers: HoH crowned as prizes are nabbed appeared first on globaltv. Big Brother All-Stars has another repeat HoH.

For the second time this season Cody is Head of Household.

The competition wasn’t shown on the lives feeds but seemed to be a golfing challenge by the houseguest’s descriptions.

“So, there might be prizes for the PoV now?” asked Enzo of the other houseguests in the kitchen saying there was $10,000 available in the HoH competition.

“There will be for sure,” said Memphis.

Later, Dani spoke to Memphis alone confirming she used her Basement Power on him and he was able to play for HoH.

“I wanted to go for that money so bad,” said Memphis.

“I think it is obvious who won,” said Dani.

They debated whether Cody, Tyler or Enzo claimed the money up for grabs.

“I think Cody won,” said Memphis.

“Good for him if he did,” said Dani.

Da’Vonne Rogers became the second member of the jury joining Ian in the jury house on the live eviction show.

A 5 to 2 vote sent Da’Vonne packing. Dani and Nicole were the only ones who voted to keep her.

When host Julie Chen Moonves played Nicole’s goodbye message Da’Vonne was not pleased when she discovered that Nicole had lied to her about voting for Ian to stay and letting the blame fall on David.

“I was asking her for purposes that were not game related. I told Nicole I am a black woman in this game. David is a black man in this game. I do not want to be on television bashing him and calling him a liar if he did nothing wrong. So, if you did that and you voted Ian out just tell me. I won’t hold it against you. I won’t be angry with you. Just be honest with me. She said, I swear I voted Tyler out. That is why I am bothered. Game-wise, I get it. You got to do what you’ve got to do for your alliance but that was personal. That was important for me and I told her to be honest with me about that,” said Da’Vonne.

As Da’Vonne moved out of the Big Brother house a legend moved in. All-Star and season two winner Dr. Will Kirby became the players’ new neighbour.

“Great news! I just bought your neighbour’s house. I guess that makes me, Dr. Will, your brand-new neighbour. Come on. You didn’t think you could have All-Stars without me, did you? As your new neighbour I thought I would put my own little spin on the game,” said Will announcing that in the next HoH challenge and Veto competition the houseguests will have the choice of “going for power or for prizes”.

Chen-Moonves also revealed that next week’s live show will be a triple eviction on a special two-hour episode of Big Brother.

Big Brother Canada says…”You’re welcome, Julie.”

Big Brother All-Stars 2 airs on Global three times a week: Sundays and Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT), featuring the live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen Moonves.

Everyone left on Big Brother is gunning for the $500,000 grand prize, but no one will walk away empty-handed. Having people take a break from their lives for an entire summer with no communication with the outside world is no small ask. It's even worse for those in jury who get evicted, but stay cooped up in a house by themselves for an additional few weeks. Big Brother soothes the pain of losing by providing evicted houseguests with a stipend — but is it worth it? How much is the Big Brother 19 jury stipend?

Big Brother hands out three major cash prizes. The grand prize, a runner-up prize of $50,000, and a prize of $25,000 to whoever is voted America's Favorite Player. However, Big Brother contestants also get a cash prize for every week they stay on the show – including when they are in jury. In 2011, the website Reality Blurred claimed that the cast — aside from the winner and runner-up — makes $750 a week while in the Big Brother house. With that much money on the line, it's no wonder that people try so hard to make it to jury. However, times have changed since then. A candid conversation between Jessica and Cody revealed that the cast may be getting paid even more for Big Brother 19.

On the live feeds, Cody and Jessica briefly tried to do the math of how much Jessica would be taking home if she was evicted. Jess says to Cody that the stipend is 'a thousand bucks a week. Paul's making double that.' Jessica believes that Paul makes twice as much as everyone else by being there. While her claim is unconfirmed, this makes sense as he's a returning cast member and a major draw for people who watched Big Brother 18.

Even if no one else is making as much money as Paul, $1,000 a week to sit in a house and play in physical challenges is nothing to shake a stick at. It's a nice aide for anyone leaving their life for a summer, and making it to jury ensures that houseguests walk away with an ample check.

Big Brother 19 is estimated to last 13 weeks judging by the number of competitors, meaning that anyone who makes it to the end is getting 13 payments of their weekly stipend. That's $13,000 for everyone who makes it to Jury, and, reportedly, $26,000 for Paul. In prize money alone, it's almost like Paul is already America's favorite.

$13,000 is mere pennies compared to winning $500,000, but it's a nice way to ensure that the houseguests are able to take a summer off for the show without losing much income. According to the stipulations reported in Reality Blurred, the grand prize winner and runner-up don't receive the stipend, but that doesn't mean much to someone who just got half-way to becoming a millionaire.

Big Brother 3rd Place Prize

The jury stipend isn't the best prize one can get from Big Brother, but at least houseguests get paid enough to make all the stress, betrayal, and yelling worth it.
